Dungeon Invite Freezes Game

I received a dungeon invite and when I tapped the icon in the lower left for "Contacts" and went to "Social" and then "Dungeon Invites" it locked/froze the game on that screen. It did not display who the invite was from nor could I close the "contacts" window. It was frozen and I had to do close the whole app and re-launch. Anyone else have similar issues?
(Device is Samsung Note 8, most up-to-date game version and OS and no connectivity issues (big surprise there)).
