Wish the game was less repetitive

This may be a noob question, because I am only level 13, but I wish the game had more than just punching and kicking. I understand special moves show your champion using their powers but I wish this was a default. A simple repulsor ray blast from iron man could take the place of some punches or a energy blast from scarlet witch. Also, the background of fights could have more variety. I would love to see star-lord and captain marvel battle in out whilst flying in mid-air( though captain marvel would win). Or an aerial battle between the Milano and a quintet. I think this would bring some variety into the game and again( sorry if this is a noob post)
