Season Ranking Dropped - no explanation?

We were ranked 255 in G1 at the end of the season. Rewards come out and we're at rank 52 in G2?! How is this possible? Everyone has moved in AQ so not one ally member was banned, and yet our rank drops over 300+ spots? What happened?!

    Did you lose points? if so then you may have someone in your alliance who were caught cheating, which is not always an immediate banning.

    Nope, no point reduction to our war rating which adds to our frustration. We won our last two wars which we thought firmly planted us in G1, then to awaken and see this? Beyond infuriating

    Sometimes you move up after the war finishes but the leaderboard doesn’t reset when the other alliances finish

    You’re right, I’ve seen that happen many times at the end of our war, then when other alliances finish we move up or down. But to drop from 255 to 52 in a whole different tier? That’s actually more than 300+ spots, it’s closer 1000. No way that alliances could move our rating that much.

    You could have looked at ranking right after your last war ended, but overall ranking did not factor in other wars still wrapping up (or not yet included in overall ranks at that time yet).

    Or else, as far as docking points, they don’t dock your War Rating (that would be unfair to much lower teams that would then have to face you after your Rating would drop). Instead they just dock your season points (which then affects your rank, but not your Rating).

    I went to sleep around 10:30pst and we were in G1 with our rating and ranking. Our last war had finished up earlier in the day at roughly 11am pst. I wasn’t awake when rewards came out, I woke up to find that we were in G2, so sometime after 10:30pst we dropped.

    that is odd, typically they stabilize by then, but they keep adding in calculations and adjustments for cheating long past then..

    Other alliances finished late and then they tabulate. Happened to us (but I’m the other direction).

    My alliance moved up about 10 spots after our final war. Only way for that to have happened was if they docked points after all wars were complete.
