When did you contribute? anything before 10am pst does not count, and if you maxed it out before 10am pst then you cannot get any more for that day. I dont know when those SS were taken so may have been before the nightly reset

Been this way forever.

Points are only awarded for Help Event if you are under the Loyalty Cap for giving Helps that day. Once you Max out your giving Helps, you can still give Help but they don’t count towards Help Event.
And so if you use up all your Help Assistance in morning before the Help Event actually starts (during 2nd half of Loyalty Event day), then you can’t get any Help Event Points unti after your next Help Reset time (normally overnight, US-based, but some rare ppl have Reset times at other odd hours).
