Time After Time 4.4 (Venom Boss)

Top path of Chapter 4 Quest 4 of Time After Time quest has 4 fights before the boss. The portal up the top of the quest teleports you onto the Cable node, forcing you to do one more fight than intended.game is broken and unplayable, I demand compensation, blah blah blah. (please note that last bit is sarcasm)
so yeah was that intended? cause this could make exploring this chapter a bit more annoying for some people...
