Is Omega Red worth it without suicides?

Like it says, I just pulled a 4* OR, and I was wondering if it’s worth ranking him or using a generic gem on him if I don’t run suicides. What do you think?

    Yeah, you just need to spam more heavies to keep the degen.

    I’m trying to get suicides now, as my team is Dom (shakes off bleed), Corvus (bleed immune), Ghost, (bleeds give fury), Luke Cage, (bleed immune), and the last would be OR. It’s just taking a really really long time to get the needed units, as I’m F2P. But my team really is great for the bleed suicide.

    I run half suicides with DE and I like it very much. I have cuagolate at 1/3 so non immune champs only lose 5% hp. You just cant spam SPs as much as you did before

    I had a 5 50 OR and liked him quite a lot but he dropped off pretty hard as his value increases exponentially as a 5 star , high sig and suicides

    I had my 5* R5 sig 100+ Omega without suicides turned on for a while. It was underwhelming. Then I turned suicides on, and holy hell, he's a beast. If you already have a team tailored for suicides and it looks like you do, then max omega out, then save them units and turn that ish on.

    I pulled OR and havok within a week of each other (and own a AG and 100 stones), in the process of r5ing the havok.
    In my situation AW is a big deal as we are a plat alliance, and I am already one of the leading defensive member, so turning my suicides back on is simply not an option for me. I find it more beneficial to just go all in on being “that guy with all the alliances good defenders”
    So as you can see my opinion is he is not worth it without the suicides, but if you are not super aw focused and can afford to weaken your defense, I highly recommend you get suicides for him.

    I have an unlocked 5* r4 OR at sig 36. Is he worth ranking to r5 and running suicide?

    Interesting thread. I've been sitting on Unawakened OR at 2/35 for the same reason - I don't have (or intend to get) suicides, and it seems he needs them. Really needs double edge and Awakening to be killer, by the sound of it.

    Plus, I'm sitting on a 2/35 OML, and want to see how he's buffed post-beta.

    I don't run suicides and my r5 5* OR is still awesome. He does need a high sig though. At least 140ish.
