Thing and MODOK both have annoying things about them.
MODOK is especially painful on Stun Immune nodes. oh my gosh he's painful. But he can do perfectly fine unawakened, which is awesome.
Thing is a newer champion who can be fairly useful on a variety of nodes. Power Shield can be pretty good for him, but I personally have seen him cause some grief on Stun Immunity as well, and I could see him being at least decent on Force Of Will... but for some of those nodes, especially Power Shield, he needs to be duped and as high sig as possible.

Thing is good because as a new champ alot of people have don't fight with him so they won't able to defeat him if you are in aw at silver 2 or gold 3, and
Great attacker as well defender and in future he would have great synergy .
