Thing hitting through ghost's phase (bug?)

I was using ghost against thing in tier 3 AW. Thing was on the boss node. Randomly in the fight he hit me despite being in phase (see video). Is this a bug or anyone know how this happened?

    Looks like you had an attack input right before he slapped you. Not sure if its a bug or no

    Yea I definitely didn't. I tend to phase 2 hits before intercepting and had been doing that the whole fight. My ghost also didn't make any move when he got smacked there.

    Nah. It looks like that when you were to fast on the intercept. At least in my gameplay. Can still be a bug tho
