Idea for Professor X (new game mechanic)

My idea for a new game mechanic is in relation to Professor X’s mind control ability.

While playing as Prof X, the opponent’s special button would become an active usable button by the player. Basically any opponent that you’re fighting is defaulted to All-or-Nothing... they will not throw specials until a special 3, unless the player presses the opponent’s special button, in a sense, Prof X is controlling them. This would allow players to bait out specials of their choosing, but risk getting nailed by a special 3 if they aren’t being careful, and perhaps a fair trade off for this ability would be that Prof X takes extra special 3 damage.

Alternatively, when a player is facing Prof X as an opponent, their ability to throw a special could be locked out based on something like a Physic Charge mechanic that you would need to beat out of him first in order to get your special button to work.

Obviously, robots and other opponents that are immune to physics would be immune to this mechanic.
