Duping a max sig character

I think it is time for Kabam to take a hard look at duping champions. In particular , what happens when we dupe a 5* character that is already max sig. For duping them we get 275 6* SHARDS and then the Max Sig crystal gives us another 275 6* shards. This is a little crazy. It takes time to build up the shards to get a 5* and honestly because of how long it takes to get a 6* duping any champ that is already maxed is a waste of 5* shards. What if we got like 25% of the shards spent plus the 275 6* shards? I think this would help a lot of the community.
