Liquid Courage Maestry against Void

so I have been facing this recently that, if you have Liquid Courage maestry on, and it is a non poison immune champ, going in against VOID in a fight makes you drain your health really fast. its like Void make the Poison Debuff 4-5x more powerful.

When Opponents Suffer from a Debuff

For each unique Debuff type, the opponent takes 109.2% of Void’s current Attack Rating as Direct Damage per second.

No where does it say who puts the buff there.
