The “find a partner” feature in dungeons should allow both players to see each other’s champs.

I can’t count the times that I’ve loaded up lvl 7dungeons with an appropriate team rating and the other player is using champs well below the suggested team rating and can’t get pass room 1-2. While champs rating doesn’t equal skill level it does usually say something about account progression. Idk the algorithm that’s used to pair summoners but as it currently stands it’s horrible. Pair summoners with similar team rating or at least give us the option to see their champs so we can make the decision on if we want to take the risk.

You can look at all the champs you want, what you won't see is 1) champs in cooldown 2) points the other player needs to hit 11k pts. If someone's 1 room away, they're gettin' theirs even if you're looking for a 6 room run.

OP means for the 2 people randomly tossed together to be able to see each other selecting their champs (just as with dungeons with a friend), and then both people would lock in AFTER that, with the ability to LEAVE instead if you don’t like what you see in the other person.

Only thing that would need to change is that game would have both people select a “Target Dungeon Level” that you would want to do BEFORE finding random partner (INSTEAD of locking in your champs before finding random partner), both people would do this ahead of time so that (without knowing which champs) you could be paired with someone of similar desired Dungeon Level.

Then once paired, each person could EDIT their champs, and then BOTH people would have to choose to start the same Dungeon Room Level (similar to how both people after each room have to agree to continue or abort). Then when both people choose START with the same Level #, then Dungeon would commence.

And if before actually Starting, if you don’t agree on a Dungeon Level, or if both ppl want to use same Class of champs, or if other person just isn’t responding to chat and you want to abort, the parties could LEAVE, and their champs will NOT have any cool down because you didn’t actually start your Dungeon. Similar to how Friend matches can choose to Leave instead of starting initial Dungeon.

Just reading that is too much effort.

And again, you can do all that, but once i get my 600 pts, adios buddy.

That sucks if you do that on d7. If you only need a few points run a lower level and do a room or two extra for the partner who is using his champs.

    1. You can search for a random partner before selecting your champions
    2. Once a matchup is found, both players can proceed to selecting their champions with both of them being able to see each other's selected champions
    3. If a player doesn't like the other players champs that's being used, they can leave the matchup without subjecting their champs to the long timer.
    4. Anyone who decides to run D7 just for 1 room and wasting the other players run, wins the title, "scum of the earth". Cheers

This isn't correct. If you invite someone you can do this. You don't have the option of searching for a random unless you choose your team first, and once the random joins, you are locked in. If this were true it would be much better as you could choose champs specific to one side, but you can't with random unless you want to risk both players having no good options for one side. Couldn't agree more with your point #4 though.

@LeNoirFaineant , sounds like what @Jh_Dez saying is shorter “condensed” wording of my long-winded proposal. I like his added Title if someone quits after 1 Room (or maybe if quits with way too much health remaining gets a “I Chickened Out” Title).
    * Mine just goes into more detail for those who would say “well, what if....”

And @klobberintyme , well that’s where you'd be able to communicate beforehand and tell the other person in advance you only want to do 1 room's worth of points.
