Penalty for leaving a fight - maybe time to reconsider?

Let's get real here, Kabam... maintenance and crashes have become Status Quo. Maybe it's time to remove the penalty system so players can stop being punished for situations beyond their control due to Kabam's inability to stabilized code.
When Kabam gets its act together - ie dramatically reduce the frequency of emergency maintenances - then it would be prudent to reimplement it. Right now, it's just a big FU to the player base.
