About Colossus:
Piotr "Peter" Rasputin was the child of Russian farmers, born with big shoulders and strong spirit. When his mutant powers emerged, his body became encased in living steel and he became one of the mightiest heroes of the Marvel Universe. Peter moved to America to join the X-Men, serving as both the heart and conscience of the team.

Character Class: Mutant
Basic Abilities: Armor Up, Stun, Fatigue, Immunities

  • Colossus is Immune to all Bleed, Incinerate, Coldsnap & Frostbite effects. Additionally, if he’s not fighting a Tech Champion, he’s also Immune to Armor Break and Armor Shattered Debuffs.
  • At the start of the Fight, Colossus gains a number of indefinite Armor Up Buffs equal to 2 plus the number of X-Men Champions on his team, including himself.
Personal Armor Up Buffs - Max: 20:
  • Unless otherwise stated, Colossus’s Armor Up Buffs provide 222.2 Armor Rating.
  • Additionally, for each Armor Up Buff Colossus has, he gains an additional 61.8 Critical Damage Rating.
When Attacked & When Attacking:
  • If Colossus’s Ability Accuracy is below 100%, he gains +100% Power Rate for the duration of the attack.
Enemy Critical Hits:
  • Damage is capped at 150% of the opponent’s Attack rating.
  • Each time this damage cap is hit, the duration of Colossus’s Armor Up Buffs are refreshed. Additionally, he has a 50% chance to gain an additional Armor Up Buff lasting 15 seconds.
Well-Timed Blocks:
  • 100% chance to gain an Armor Up Buff, lasting 15 seconds.
  • If contact is made by basic attacks, Colossus has a 100% chance to inflict a Stun Debuff lasting 1 second.
  • If Colossus has the Parry Mastery, this Stun Debuff is disabled and instead a successful Parry also deals 579 direct damage.
Special Attacks and Heavy Attacks:
  • Attack rating is increased by up to +2318, based on Colossus’s Armor Rating.
Heavy Attacks:
  • If the opponent has a Stun Debuff, Colossus’s Heavy Attacks have a 100% chance to Purify the Stun and grant a Passive Fury increasing Attack by up to +2318, based on Colossus’s Armor, for 3 seconds.

Special Attack 1:
  • Gain an indefinite Armor Up Buff.
  • Flat 5% chance per Armor Up Buff to inflict a Stun Debuff for 2 seconds.

Special Attack 2:
  • This attack is Unblockable.
  • When activated, for each Armor Up Buff, Colossus has a 50% chance to gain another lasting 15 seconds. These Buffs do not count towards the Max Stack limit, allowing Colossus to temporarily go above his Armor Up Buff limit.

Special Attack 3:
  • 100% chance to inflict an indefinite, Passive Fatigue on the opponent, reducing their Critical Rating by 2000.
  • Colossus activates Organic Steel for 15 seconds, increasing the amount of Damage reduced by Armor and Resistances by 2% per Armor Up Buff. Additionally, while Organic Steel is active, Colossus is Unstoppable while Blocking allowing him to shrug off attacks.

Signature Ability - The Mighty Colossus!:
  • Passive
  • Whenever one of Colossus’s Immunities protects him from an effect, he has a 50% chance to gain an Armor Up Buff lasting 15 seconds.
  • Colossus has a 40% chance to convert an expiring Armor Up Buff into a permanent one.

Fastball Special with - Wolverine & Old Man Logan)
  • Colossus: Gain a Fastball Fury Buff at the start of the fight granting +50% Attack and +50% Special Attack rating for 15 seconds.
  • Wolverine & Old Man Logan: Begin the fight with 1 Bar of Power.
  • Unique Synergy: Does not stack with duplicate Synergies.

Feel Cyttorak’s Embrace - with Juggernaut & Unstoppable Colossus
  • Colossus: Armor Up Buffs also grant +1% Attack Rating.
  • Juggernaut: The first Unstoppable Buff each fight gains +2 seconds duration.
  • Unstoppable Colossus: +20% Fury and Armor Up Buff Potency.
  • Unique Synergy: Does not stack with duplicate Synergies.

Friends - with Wolverine & Old Man Logan
  • All Champions: +130 Armor Rating

Friends - with Rogue, Beast, Domino, Magneto (Marvel Now!)
  • All Champions: +130 Armor Rating

Friends with Gambit, Wolverine (X-23), Deadpool, Deadpool (X-Force), Goldpool
  • All Champions: +130 Armor Rating.

Enemies - with Juggernau
  • All Champions: +155 Critical Rating

Enemies - with Hyperion, Mister Sinister, Magneto
  • All Champions: +155 Critical Rating

Family with Magik
  • All Champions: +5% Health.

  • Although Colossus has a built-in Parry-like effect, he gains a decent direct-damage ability if he also has the Mastery. Grab this Mastery if you want Colossus to deal damage with each Parry in addition to taking very little chip damage during Blocks.

Double Edge
  • Since Colossus is Immune to Bleed effects, he will only gain the Attack bonus without taking damage. As a slight bonus, this also has a chance to activate his Signature Ability for another Armor Up Buff.

  • Extreme Tank
  • Between his many Armor Up Buffs, Organic Steel and indefinite Fatigue, Colossus can make it through numerous attacks that would fell other Champions. He’s also much more resistant to Critical Hits than most Champions.

  • Strong, Difficult-to-Resist Damage Output
  • As Colossus’s damage output is tied to his Armor Rating and his Parry interaction, few Champions can directly counter this since he isn’t reliant on putting effects on his opponent.
  • Reliant on Parry into Heavy
  • Colossus’s strongest combat loop is to make use of his built-in Parry mechanics in conjunction with consistent Heavy Attacks. This will build his Armor Ups quickly while also doing consistent damage to the opponent. Unfortunately, if Colossus can’t access either of these mechanics, his overall damage output will take a serious hit.

    go go COLOSSUS
  • “Well-Timed Blocks — If contact is made by Basic Attacks....”

    (1) Because of wording related to having Parry mastery or not, does this imply that “without” Parry you would still need to do the well-timed block with the same Timing as if you did have Parry ?? (ie, not just a normal hold block in advance of the opponent’s hit) And so this feature is not really useful using him as a defender, but just on offense (except for those random times that a Colossus defender happens to activate Block right as you attack him).

and (2) Does specifying “if contact is made” mean contact into the well-timed Block (as opposed to “if contact is made” normally implying a non-blocked contact hit) ?? And is this also worded so as to exclude those cases where Projectile attacks can by Parried sometimes, limiting this aspect to contact-attempted hits instead of projectiles ??

What took all the extra time? Both buffs are the same? Did anything change besides 1% off the juggs synergy and an extra 10 seconds in between logans regen? Im so confused

What about the emma and OR synergies?

Does that Juggernaut Synergy mean the starting of the match Unstoppable Juggernaut has (Awakened or Unawakened) is extended by 2 seconds, or does it mean the first Unstoppable we gain from a Special (Awakened only) is extended by 2 seconds?

@Kabam Zibiit we need info on the Emma Frost and Omega Red synergies for Colossus. Is there a mistake here or are these the tweaks that you guys had to make to give us these champs in the best possible form?

Warlock's value just went up x 2 - a tech champ who can still armor break colossus.
  • Does the synergy with Omega Red still apply?

If you’re an enemy to the pure farmboy Colossus. The “heart” of the Xmen. Then you’re a villain. More proof that Hyperion is put into the wrong category. #falsehero

For real now, where are the Emma Frost and OR synergies?
  • SVWISVWI Posts: 74
You guys pretty much nerfed him from the beta taking out the only ‘good’ synergy that there were. WHERE ARE THE EMMA FROST+OR SYNERGIES???

What was the thought process on nerfing the cyttoraks embrace synergy from 2% to 1% wasn’t really gamebreaking was it?

They said they were gonna make him better than beta. They actually nerfed him

Looks like they removed the Omega Red/Emma Frost Synergy, which they previously took off Omega Red and put on Colossus during the Beta, then put it's Attack Boost Per Armor Up on the Juggernaut/Unstoppable Colossus Synergy but also reduced the Attack Boost from 2% to 1%... Just... What?

He looks really solid. Can't wait to test him out. Should be fun.
