Why is everyone freaking out about those synergies? They are provided by Emma and OR not colossus himself, just chill

During the Beta one or both of those Synergies were moved to be on Colossus instead, and they haven't specified if those movements being gone means the Synergies are back on EF/OR or are they going to be removed, that's why everyone's confused.

Bc they were attached to colossus in the beta and the synergies from the other champs didn't work. I would assume there's a good chance those synergies would be removed from them in the new update. Until either way is confirmed it's just speculation though

Infinite fatigue debuff will destroy mordo.

I think they said fatigue evade was limited to antman

Honestly out of the two I'd say Col came out really good. Tho off the top of my head, the best counters to him are Dr. Voodoos SP1, Morningstars Sp2 will one shot him, Mordos Sp2 drains his life or anyone with strong nullify like Dorm, Magik (her sp3 would do well I assume), Hood, etc.

But the number one counter to the new Col is hands down Ronan. No need to fight when you can just keep him stunned 100% of the time. Having a 10+ second stun seems useful. I'll be sure to bring Ronan to V3 to test.

Ronan will melt from the bleed. Don’t even bother.

Other than that, best counter against him is Venom the Duck.

Yes, having just beat that Colossus, Ronan would get murdered in 5 seconds flat.
  • Do we have different definitions of the word “indefinite”? Is the duration unknown/undefined? Or do you mean infinite?

I forgot about the bleed that col has. Well other than that one, anytime a Col pops up then Ronan an option.

Does that Juggernaut Synergy mean the starting of the match Unstoppable Juggernaut has (Awakened or Unawakened) is extended by 2 seconds, or does it mean the first Unstoppable we gain from a Special (Awakened only) is extended by 2 seconds?

It'll be for the Unstoppable he gains at the start of the fight.

What is the duration of organic steel after his sp3?

The duration is 15 seconds. Updated the description to include that.
  • We've had some questions about what changes were made to Colossus between the beta and now, and have some more information about it for everyone here.

We'd also like to remind everyone that the stats for abilities in Spotlights are for 4-Star Champions, so if it looks like the stats of his abilities are lower than a 5-Star in the beta, that would be why.

Didn’t his specials give him Prowess before? Was that removed? If so, why? Or am I just remembering wrong?

Besides the ridiculous power gain rate interaction with the Pacify mastery, I really like this!

what about existing synergies colossus has with OR and Emma?

Those synergies are normally on Omega Red and Emma Frost, though they were moved onto Colossus during the beta to make it easier for players to find while testing him. He will still be a part of those synergies, though they will be on Omega Red and Emma Frost as they usually are. They will have the following stats:

    Omega Red Synergy “Metal Mayhem”
    • Colossus: +2% Attack Rating per Armor Up Buff
    Emma Frost Synergy “Impenetrable Hide”
    • Colossus: +2% Power Rate per Armor Up Buff
Yikes. This dude's going to be pretty brutal then.

Put a power boost on this dude... That's a lot.
    Build up armor buffs
    Heavy
    Special 2
Probably not even 1 full combo
    Heavy
    L2
That power gain and damage is going to go up and up. L2 let's you go above the limit for armor stacks. When we get to that 2nd L2, we have more armor buffs that all have a 50% chance to replicate. That's 5% more power rate, 61.8 crit damage, and 222.2 armor per armor up buff. You're going to get more and more armor the more L2's you throw. And thw fact that it's unblockable... There is without a shadow of a doubt he is getting nerfed hard.

I one shot that Colossus at V3 3.1 (or was it 2.2?) with Omega Red: constant bleed made Death Field always active and always healing. It is a good alternative to Venom The Duck

What are you getting all those figures from 300% power gain? And 16000 armor wouldn’t he need like 80 armor ups for that?
When Colossus' ability accuracy is under 100%, he gains 100% power gain.
With the Emma Frost synergy he gains 15% power rate for every armor buff.
And get this. I calculated it wrong. My ally mate said that synergy only gave 5%... It's 15.
The 16,000 armor is coming from the fact that He can get 20 armor up buffs.
When he throws his L2, he has a 50% chance for each armor buff to replicate for 15 seconds. So say you have crazy rng (This won't happen) and you replicate all of them. Now you have +8888 armor. When you throw an L3 each damage is reduced by another 2% for each armor buff. 15998.4 armor.
If you activate a mutant power boost, you can continually throw those L2's. Every L2 gives you more and more armor up buffs thay will all have a chance to replicate.

    Well

    20 buffs: 40% power gain
    40: 80%
    Etc.

So.... If I remove the parry mastery, I always get a 1 second stun (regardless of limber) with Colossus on well time blocks, similar to how Domino can bypass limber with Massacre synergy?

Yes it will be like that

Although Colossus has a built-in Parry-like effect, he gains a decent direct-damage ability if he also has the Mastery. Grab this Mastery if you want Colossus to deal damage with each Parry in addition to taking very little chip damage during Blocks.
