Buffs at fight start

Are buffs supposed to start their timer before the start pops up after both champs run to the center
Asking because of Colossus with synergy for fury
Mephisto doesn't even place his soul prison stuff on the opponent until after start comes up

They’re looking at colossus, that seems like a bug to me
