Daredevil Classic Evading Havok Mediums

I was fighting Daredevil Classic with Havok in the epic level doom invasions just now and he was evading a number of my medium attacks. My understanding was that he could only evade projectiles. Havok's mediums are both energy damage and do not make contact but I didn't believe that they were projectiles. Is this intended or is anyone else encountering this. Doesn't seem like the best time if I'm wishing for a prompt fix.

    Projectiles can also be energy based attacks and even beams like how collector's specials are
    I completely understand that energy attacks can be projectiles (most of them are). Would Magneto have the same interaction?
