Ingame notification calendar

so we get the emails and check the forums but sometimes the two doesnt mix for some people for what is happening, events, deals, etc... how about having a regular calendar in game that shows what is coming up next for maintenance, free maps, game updates, etc... because some people do not have a good memory. also how about having the treasury locked out during free maps of aq and have a temporary message appear stating Treasury is locked this week due to free maps.
