Question about upcoming compensation

The message saying that AW season rewards could be delayed until early next week precise that you need to still be part of the alliance if you want to receive them.
What i want to make sure is what about the compensation that will be following. Do i need to still be in the same AW/AQ alliance i was in at the time or will those compensation will be sent to everyone no matter what?
