Hyperion Map 5

Hi Kabam and MCOC community. surely you must notice that Hyperion on a spite node makes him far to OP. It sucks the fun out of it when he just SP3 you twice. You cant bait specials, unless if you have a specific champion its ruining the fun for 1000s in the game. Come on guys.

He's a piece of {EXPUNGED} sometimes yeah, but my SS works fine against him. Just need the proper champ and hes easier to deal with. Course he can always just turtle up in the corner. He isn't broken or OP, just annoying.

Octoberstack

Bring a power control or nullify champ, hold block to bait heavy, dash back early to dodge said heavy without dexing, repeat until power lock/fate seal etc wears off. Build power with short hits (single M, MLM, etc.), then power control, all that good stuff. Hawkeye and psylocke are pretty great for this.

If you’ve got sparky, do the above until power lock wears off, then build to an sp1 before he can get to his sp3. Get in a 5-hit combo (even if it pushes him to three bars), and initiate a stunlock for as long as you can (probably not that long tbh), then when you can’t keep it up, hit him with a power drain heavy whilst still stunned and repeat. The taunts on him from your stunlocking should make him throw a special which you can dodge and start the cycle again.

Doc oc will work wonders if you can play him right too.

Granted, for all the above you have to play pretty impeccably and be smart with your dexing, but it definitely is possible with the right champs and strategy. Between 10 players you’ll most likely have a counter or three lying around.
