Why does corvous get shock damage while hitting electro??

It is written that corvous cannot get shock debuff while his glaive's immunity is active, then what damage does he get while hitting electro??
I think he should be immune to all shock damage too while his glaive immunity is active, and should not get any damage while hitting electro.

Electros damage isn't shock damage it is direct damage you recieve for hitting him. Just because the name of said ability is static shock does not mean it inflicts shock damage

    1) it is not a debuff
    2) it is energy damage not shock damage

Electro damage isn’t shock damage, use the search tool for this sort of thing, it’s been said many times

Well, technically it is “Static Shock”. But correct, it is NOT a DEBUFF. So Corvus still takes damage from it.

Nop, he can and will get the debuffs. The ability only protects him from the damage.

then what damage does he get while hitting electro??

Energy damage, as stated in Electro's ability.

He is immune to the damage of shock debuffs, not ALL shock damage. Passive shock, bleed and coldsnap will affect him as normal.
He should totally get damaged while hitting electro. Just read their abilities or see the previous answers

All debuffs will have a bordered icon under the afflicted champion's health bar. If there's no bordered icon, it's not a debuff. If the icon isn't bordered, it's a pasive effect, neither buff nor debuff.
