Nick furies heal ability stopped at the end

Hi,
Today I am fighted with map 5 thanos with 5* R5 nick fury 100Sig .I took some hit to build some tactic charge and try to activate furies fury but at the end nick stopped at 1% health and died he didn't activate his heal ability how is this possible its passive no ability can stop but it happened to me today

A simple way to nerf Nick out of AQ more or less. Somewhat **** but what you gonna do.
