Rank up advice...Thing vs Aegon

I recently got a 6 star Thing and I have played around with him and he is fun for sure...A weird playstyle, but I see his value. I also have a rank 4 Aegon at sig 185. My goal right now is to explore variant 3 which I have a handful of high level tech champs for and also want to explore variant 2 in the future and explore LoL. I have act 6.2 to complete as well. Its a hard decision between these tw and the content I want to complete. I dont run high level AQ or AW so those things dont matter to me for rankups.

    Thing when you can use his synergies is a beast!
    But you can't go wrong with both champs
