Beginner EQ energy cost

Why is this months beginner EQ energy cost scaling up in each chapter? 1 energy per tile in Ch1, then it's 2 per tile in Ch2 and 3 per tile in Ch3. This is the same as all other difficulties.
Wasn't supposed to be 1 energy per tile the entire Beginner difficulty? @Kabam Miike please clarify.

    And now I see it reverted back to 1 energy for all chapters. Thanks. Wasn't expecting this to be fixed so fast
