Sym Supreme - SP2 not inflicting bleed

RotellyRotelly Posts: 774 ★★★
Why doesn't symbiote supreme inflict bleed on opponent when they are hit with SP2 while in "Set's Fangs" blessing?

"100% chance to cause a Bleed Debuff on every hit", his sp2 has multiple hits that should all trigger bleeds

You cut off the part where it says it is based off his genetic potencial. So 0 generic potencial means he won't proc any bleed

So is it damage level or probability of inflicting bleed based on generic potential

The wording for SS is a bit odd. It says 100% chance to cause bleed debuff that deals up to X damage based on genetic potential. That sounds to me like the bleed debuff always lands and the damage it deals scales with genetic potential.

And we can't say that if the damage is zero the debuff doesn't happen because the notion of a debuff that deals zero damage ticks is an actual thing in the game. It is not a generally advantageous thing for the attacker, but it does exist.

I believe as a special case condition if you have zero genetic potential then none of the effects that scale with genetic potential actually trigger, but that should probably be explicitly stated in the description.

Sp2 is suppose to inflict amour break on "Set's fang". Bleed is inflicted with genetic potential only with hits not special.
