Increase in blocking damage??

I have recently noticed that all my champs are now receiving more damage when blocking than before. This became glaringly noticable when I was fighting venom with multiple buffs on him and my WW2 capt was still taking blocking damage. He used to take hardly any or none at all while fighting a venom with multiple buffs due to his sig ability. Did this a a few fights in AQ, events, and such. Is his a known bug, issue, or have the blocking damage numbers been changed recently? Like I said it seems to be effecting all champs but def more noticable with a WW2 capt. Please advise. Thanks.
