I'm stuck on the DPX boss in variant. I'm trying to use the heavy chain strategy but all my champs can't reliably chain without him going unstoppable.... Can somebody quickly give me some champs who can reliably heavy him against the wall?

    Obviously I don't have ghost Sparky or quake... so the heavy chain is my best option

    Yeah... Don't want to heavy chain due to her furies... But he also won't use specials when I do have furies....

    Died 3 times with she Hulk... One time he used a special when I tried to heavy.... Other 2 times he wouldn't use specials and I got stuck

    Ok maybe my wording was bad... Let's try again...

    So when I try to heavy chain into DPX I gained some passive furies... He threw a special in my face and I died.

    Then, I tried to heavy chain until I got a fury. I would then bait a special... He wouldn't throw it and I died... Twice

    And even then he only blocks unlockable specials...

    you say he used his special however in Variant he has the node which is a 100% chance of him not using his specials but gives him buffs based on his current power level
