Leaderboard (wrongly) displaying my alliance as being Gold 3???

My alliance The Lion's Den (L.D.1) is (or was???) in the 1000-1100 range of Gold 2, but starting yesterday it's changed to the 1000-1100 range of Gold 3. If you go to our alliance general screen in game it correctly shows as as Gold 2. I'm hoping this isn't a points glitch of some sort and is simply displaying wrong. And before anyone comments, no it's not the case of points changes as the leaderboard adjusts, we moved down a whole rank on an off day. We have 1.81 million points according to the leaderboard.
