Does anyone knows if Cull obsidian works on thorns on war tier 3 because I saw something weird....

A 5* Cull on rank 3 in his first fight won a havok 6* on thorns node....Havok was about 20000 on that node and it's weird because I know that Cull makes one physical contact hits and also doesn't have armor for havok's plasma...can that happen???
