Question about the sp3 bonus damage meter

Why are the meter sections wider or thinner some times? Is it related to the defender’s number of stars?

It’s relative to the difference in strength between your attacker and the opponent.

Not sure exactly if based on Attack Rating stat or max Health stat (or whether boosts/buffs are taken into account or not).

But basically you have a wider window when fighting against a weaker opponent, and a much smaller window when fighting big bosses or high-end special content quests.

It does, you can tell if you’re using someone who takes a certain %. When I hit the 20% part with Iceman I only take 4% of my max health as opposed to 5%
