SS vs Nova bugged !!!

I’ve been testing champs on Nova. I used my R2 6* SS who was at full health against the Nova uncollected boss. I’ve read all the nodes and abilities and this was my last run on uncollected so I’m rather familiar with it. Plus I’ve been searching out SS bugs bc there’s plenty. Anyway Nova got his sp3 by dashing nonstop (annoying) and SS was his defensive phase Nova has zero buffs active so I wasn’t worried. I had 84% health. According to the description the damage is capped at a per hit percentage. And I was KOed. Am I missing something about Nova

    You need to have the "protection" buff. Is a green one that triggers when you enter that phase.
    Thats the buff that caps the damage
