Final boss in aw glitches and recovers health?

Thing. Final boss, tier 5. We had a player take him down to 30%.. loses fight. I see the health bar change on the map view to around 30%. He then somehow gets restored to a previous state like 60% or so.. Has anyone else experienced this glitch recently?
