New forums, new Character Wishlist thread

Just as a reminder, our rules:

Character requests are still a very frequent topic of conversation within our community, and with good reason - there are a ton of amazing Marvel characters in their universe.

The old Character wish list thread was ballooning a bit, and several characters requested in that thread have since been added to The Contest. We're starting up a new thread to house these discussions so that they can continue, but in a more up to date manner.

A few FAQ's:

1) Why haven't you added (X character) yet?!

A: there are so many characters we want to add, but simply haven't gotten to yet. A character's lack of presence in the Contest currently does not necessarily mean that we've overlooked them or that we don't already have them on our radar. Our teams have a finite amount of time in order to produce content, and we'd love to bang characters out quicker - but still need to maintain realistic developer cadences.

2) We need more female characters and more diversity.

A: Our own team is quite diverse itself, and we agree that representation is an important concern!

3) Why do you bother adding (X re-skinned character) when you've not even had a chance to add (x character not in The Contest)?

A: While some people are not a fan of character re-skins, MANY of our players are. The Marvel universe is one with a lengthy lore, and almost every beloved character has gone through some sort of costume change or shift at some point in their super-powered careers. These differences offer a good opportunity to re-introduce players to content they may not have managed to obtain the first time around, and allowing new players to pick up a certain champion while still keeping things a bit fresh. Our goal is to have a healthy balance between release types.

4) Can you confirm if a requested character is going to be released?

A: The short answer is no. We have specific timelines regarding when we can announce content, and that means that we can't pop in to say 'hey, that person is coming!'. For those wanting to keep on top of our latest announcements or teases, following our Twitter and Facebook accounts are your best shot. We also have an Instagram account that you should follow. So go forth, and suggest! We're not going to individually reply to the comments and suggestions that we see, but we are reading everything.

This should go without saying, but please discuss the characters you'd like to see without insulting each other or trying to discredit someone's opinion. Friendly debate is welcome, but the emphasis here is 'friendly' ; )

I disagree on Citizen V and Songbird.

Citizen V was more about his skill as a fighter and strategist So he should be a Skill.
Songbird got her powers from her augmented Voice and sonic power. That makes he a Science

I was telling a funny dream in a thread that is now gone because "wishlist request" when it wasn't.
But I'll quote myself.
"Ok so hear me out.
I had a weird dream last night that Ultraman was added to MCOC and someone was doing a breakdown saying how "you do the SP3 first then SP2 for maximum damage output."
Also it was apparently "the first Collab champ."
I woke up and got curious.
So as it turns out, there do exist Marvel Ultraman comics.
I didn't even know there were Ultraman Marvel comics but here we are."

With vision extending into the ultraviolet and infrared areas of the electromagnetic spectrum, allowing her to see in near-total darkness and retain the same level of acuity.[12] Hearing is similarly enhanced, as such Shuri can detect sounds that others cannot. Sounds that ordinarily could not be heard at incredible distances away. Shuri's sense of smell also enables her to memorize scent and individual musks for the recognition of people/objects by scent alone, even if they are well hidden. Her sense of taste is equally augmented to where she is can taste the exact ingredients of any particular food she's eaten.

Peak Human Strength: Shuri's physical strength had been bolstered well into peak and superhuman levels. Easily capable of rending and tearing complex mechanical apparatuses apart with her bear hands.[13]

Peak Human Speed: As the Black Panther, Shuri can run, jump and move at speeds superior to those of any Olympic-class runner.[12] Her top speed remains undisclosed but is clearly fast enough strike and evade faster than the eye can follow.[14]

Enhanced Speed: During her battle against the mystical creatures known as the Vanyans Shuri was able to move from one location to another with the speed of a cheetah. [19]

Stone Form: Shuri can turn her body and clothes into a flexible rock-like material which can be barely dented by gunfire.[18]

Size Alteration: As the ancient future Shuri can access the memories of a mountainous ancestor in order to magnify her size & strength.[20]

Djalia Transport: Shuri can enter and exit the Wakandan plain of memory at will if she wishes too,[21] she can even drag multiple individuals into and out of the Djalia if she so chooses.[22][20]

Realm Empowerment: Wakandan's are made several times more powerful while in the Great Veldt, Shuri being able to accomplish even greater usage of her abilities while there.[20]

Animal Empathy: Shuri learned she could reach out too, calm and even soothe any creature she came across by focusing her emotions on it.[20]

Necromancy: Shuri has shown the ability to raise an army of deceased Wakandan warriors to assist her in battle.[19]

Diplomatic Immunity: As one of the leading powers of a sovereign nation, she often visits the United States or the United Nations for political reasons. She enjoys diplomatic immunity during these trips, and her embassy is considered foreign soil.[23]
Genius-Level Intelligence: Shuri has a gifted intellectual mind, a genius on par with her older brother, who has a vast, well studied understanding of Wakandan science and technology.[23]
Gifted Tactical Specialist: Shuri is a skilled leader with a knack for diplomatic approach both in the political circuit and in combat.[24] Much about tactics and strategies was taught to her by the Wakandan war chiefs in her youth and/or by her brother. Who, like his father before him, encouraged her to always think two steps ahead of her enemies and three steps ahead of her friends. Her taciturn prowess is such that she was able to plan a clever means of drawing the treacherous Desturi out into the open by having the royal family feign incompetence and ignorance of their nations civil strife. While at the same time using Ororo, the object of their spiciest ire as bait in order to discern their grand plans.[25]
Highly Influential Connections: Both as a member of the royal family and queen regent of Wakanda, Shuri has access to a vast collection of magical artifacts, technological and military hardware, as well as the support of her nation's wide array of scientists, adventurers, and superhero connections.[26]
Master Acrobat: Shuri is also rigorously trained in acrobatics at a young age.[24]
Master Inventor: Princess Shuri, like her brother, is a phenomenal engineer and mechanist with an inherent understanding of Wakandan technology and ingenuity. Able to think up and create a host of incredible vividly useful technologies by her lonesome. Either within her lab or while on the move, she has developed impressive spy gear and personalized aviary equipment for fun.[27] As well as compact vehicular transportation which can be carried in packaging no larger than a phonograph record sleeve.[28]
Skilled Martial Artist: She's had special training in various martial art forms, being an incredibly gifted hand-to-hand combatant. Tutored in self defense by both the Dora Milaje and her sibling T'Chala.[11]
