New forums, new Character Wishlist thread

Just as a reminder, our rules:

Character requests are still a very frequent topic of conversation within our community, and with good reason - there are a ton of amazing Marvel characters in their universe.

The old Character wish list thread was ballooning a bit, and several characters requested in that thread have since been added to The Contest. We're starting up a new thread to house these discussions so that they can continue, but in a more up to date manner.

A few FAQ's:

1) Why haven't you added (X character) yet?!

A: there are so many characters we want to add, but simply haven't gotten to yet. A character's lack of presence in the Contest currently does not necessarily mean that we've overlooked them or that we don't already have them on our radar. Our teams have a finite amount of time in order to produce content, and we'd love to bang characters out quicker - but still need to maintain realistic developer cadences.

2) We need more female characters and more diversity.

A: Our own team is quite diverse itself, and we agree that representation is an important concern!

3) Why do you bother adding (X re-skinned character) when you've not even had a chance to add (x character not in The Contest)?

A: While some people are not a fan of character re-skins, MANY of our players are. The Marvel universe is one with a lengthy lore, and almost every beloved character has gone through some sort of costume change or shift at some point in their super-powered careers. These differences offer a good opportunity to re-introduce players to content they may not have managed to obtain the first time around, and allowing new players to pick up a certain champion while still keeping things a bit fresh. Our goal is to have a healthy balance between release types.

4) Can you confirm if a requested character is going to be released?

A: The short answer is no. We have specific timelines regarding when we can announce content, and that means that we can't pop in to say 'hey, that person is coming!'. For those wanting to keep on top of our latest announcements or teases, following our Twitter and Facebook accounts are your best shot. We also have an Instagram account that you should follow. This should go without saying, but please discuss the characters you'd like to see without insulting each other or trying to discredit someone's opinion. Friendly debate is welcome, but the emphasis here is 'friendly' ; )

Blue Marvel (Cosmic or Mystic) is one of my favorite MARVEL characters, so it will also be an amazing champion to bring.

Blue Marvel would likely be Cosmic. That's what they listed him in the first Summoners choice . He is elligible to come in now since we are past 2021. Any of the six they didn't chose in 2021 (Okoye (skill) , Dazzler (Mutant), Morbius (Science), Morgan Lefaye (Mystic), Blue Marvel (Cosmic), and Ironhear (tech) are now up for grabs. In 2022, they will add Quicksilver (science or Mutant) in August. they will then be able to add the 11 not chosen in the most recent summoners Choice. The 11 for 2022 are : Mutant=Armor and Moonstar Mystic=Agatha Harkness and Kushala (ghost rider supporting character) Cosmic=Beta Ray Bill , Skill=Bullseye and Baron Zemo, Tech=Hobgoblin and Prowler, and Science=Spiderwoman (jessica Drew) .
That leaves 17 more champs that can be added in the next 17 Months and the end of 2023. They could add Blue Marvel in august with Quicksilver since it is a Cosmic month. We know that champ will have ties to Surfer and Galactus which could mean Blue Marvel but could be another Herald. Okoye in November makes the most sense. We will have to see

how about an updated Punisher, with the looks along the lines of one of these two? Don’t get me wrong, the classic Punisher we already have in-game is cool as hell(even if he is damn hard to get, especially the 4, 5, and 6⭐️ Versions), but he feels a bit…dated? Maybe change some of his special attacks to be more brutal.

I would REALLY love to see Anti-Man, Owen Reese (Molecule Man) or even CAPTAIN UNIVERSE!? But I think the best of all would be the Marquis of death. I know MOST of these are almost on par with Beyonders, but these are some of the most insane people in the history of marvel. Would be an even cooler idea to have an event quest around it. Maybe we have to be the beyonders fighting the marquis? I know it would be a LOT of work on kabaams behalf, but it’s just a thought

Sorcery: Before his encounter with the Darkhold, Modred was an apprentice sorcerer capable of only minor magic spells. Once the Darkhold had corrupted him and he had become connected with the Elder God Chthon, Modred's mystical abilities increased exponentially as he now has access to all of the spells contained within the Darkhold.[10] He was considered as a possible Sorcerer Supreme.[11]

Spells and Phrases: Modred has a vast knowledge of mystical spells and incantations invoking names and aspects of various extra-dimensional objects and beings of power. Through these incantations, the magi are able to call upon these extra-dimensional power sources for very specific effects without taxing the personal abilities.[12] Modred is also capable of casting any of the vast number of powerful spells contained within the Darkhold. While Modred hasn't knowingly tapped into the complete resources the Darkhold offers, the Darkhold contained spells to summon powerful demons such as; Dragonus, The Hellhound, Monstrosity, and Wish-Demon, that he could use.[10] Modred possesses the power of:

Binding: Modred has displayed the ability to bind his targets from moving. He has formed a magical leash that restrains Switchblade.[13]

Dimensional Manipulation: As a high-tier level magic user, Modred has proven to be capable to change, shape, and manipulate dimensions. He has created Null Space, which is his own pocket dimension, where normal laws of physics are altered. He could trap/imprison, contain/store/put, as well as send himself and any other people or objects into this dimension at his will.[8] He could even merge himself with other dimensions, amplifying his power to a greater extent.[14]

Divine Sources: On rare occasions, Modred has utilized spells that tap into the energies of mystical entities other than the Elder God Chthon, such as Cyttorak and Munnopor.[10]

Elemental Control: Modred has shown to be capable to control various elemental beings and forces, such as:

Aerokinesis: Modred is capable of mystically manipulating the wind and air.[15][13]

Chlorokinesis: Modred is capable of mystically manipulating the plants and vegetation.[15][3]

Electrokinesis: Modred is capable of mystically manipulating the electricity and lightning.[16]

Geokinesis: Modred is capable of mystically manipulating the earth.[3][15]

Hydrokinesis: Modred is capable of mystically manipulating the water.[13]

Pyrokinesis: Modred is capable of mystically manipulating the fire.[15][17]

Energy Constructs: During his time as a mystic, Modred has performed the ability to use and turn his mystical energy in order to create and make magical objects. He has magically made a mystical platform.[18]

Energy Projection: Modred possesses the power to emit powerful blast of magical energy that he can use to destroy and attack any objects or persons he wants.[19][18]
Enhanced Condition: Due to the Darkhold's corruption, not only magical abilities, but Modred's physical which included durability, reaction speed, and strength, has been increased and boosted too. He is apparently immune to intoxication as he has stated and proven himself.[20]

Flight: Modred the Mystic is capable of self-propelled flight, reaching to speeds up to 300mph.[10]

Force Field: Through the use of his supernatural powers, Modred can form a magical sphere to trap and imprison his enemies like he did to Doctor Strange. It is also possible that he can use this power to shield himself and prevent him from getting any harm or any damage.[21]

Illusion Casting: Modred has demonstrated the ability to cast realistic illusions. He can disguise himself and take the appearance of someone else[1] and can use illusion in a combat to fool his enemies.[13] He once fools Doctor Strange into thinking he had teleported them to a different place only later to reveal they had never left.[19] He also can use this power to make hypnotic effect on his targets[22] as well as to attack his victims by surrounding someone with illusions of himself.[13]

Intangibility: As one of the most powerful sorcerer, Modred can become intangible allowing him to phase through solid objects and physical matter.[23]

Magic Negation: Mordred has the power to negate and nullify magic, spells, and their effect. He was able to dispel Doctor Strange's Bands of Bedevilment easily.[19]

Magic Reflection: Modred can use his sorcery to deflect magical attack such as eldritch blast that is targeted at him and tries to harm him.[18]

Mystical Invulnerability: As a magician, Modred has resistance against magic and mystical attacks. He has tanked and survived an attack from Frank Drake's exorcist gun, that is designed to counter against supernatural entities.[13][24]

Mystical Senses: Like any other sorcerers, Modred possessed acute mystical senses that can detect the presence of another people and sorcerer or the presence of an enchanted place or item.[22][25]

Necromancy: Modred has performed the power to manipulate and control the dead. He has resurrected and reanimated the army of the warriors to fight for him.[26]

Size Alteration: Modred the Mystic has displayed the ability to alter the size of everything and anything. He was able to shrink Ben Grimm and Puppet Master in his subconscious sleep.[27]

Solar Manipulation: His magic can be used to manipulate and control the very sun itself. He has used this ability to burn away an elemental enemy.[14]

Telekinesis: His sorcery allows him to move objects and persons as he pleases, seen for example when he frees himself from Ghost Rider's chain.[13]

Telepathy: Modred has demonstrated the power to manipulate, dominate, and affect the mind of others. He was able to erase and search through people's memories.[14][28] While sealed away, he once controlled Rachel Summers, a Phoenix Host, into opening a portal to free him and become his thrall[29] Not only that, he was also able to dampens the emotions as well as communicate telepathically with others.[8][13]

Teleportation: Modred has proven to be able to teleport to another place he wanted and he could bring several people within him.[13] He was able to teleport certain persons or objects away from and into his location instantly.[13][25] He has even been able to transport inter-dimensionally.[8]

Voice Manipulation: On a few occasions, Modred has shown to be able to mimic and replicate someone else's voices in order to trick his victims.[23]

Abilities
Knowledge of Occult Lore: By receiving and studying the Darkhold, Modred has proven to be capable of practicing magic on a great level and become one of Marvel's greatest magician. Even though at times he is struggling against the Darkhold's corruption, he's still considered to be one of the most powerful sorcerers.

Low-Level Telepathy: Mentallo is a mutant with limited telepathic abilities, allowing to read minds, communicate telepathically, and other applications. According to Hope; compared to someone like Prof. Xavier he's terrible.[43] Some abilities include:

Telepathic Illusions One of the first skills that he learned.[3]
Mind Control Was able to control many of the monsters on Monster Island with sufficient preparation.
Mental Probes: Mentallo also has the ability to send out mental probes to identify the shape and size of objects in his near vicinity, effectively creating some type of radar-sense. He can even locate invisible and intangible objects this way.[44]

Mind Creation: A.I.M. speculated that his lack of power compared to other telepaths isn't due to him being inherently weaker, but is more due to the fact that his powers are misapplied.[45]

Weaknesses
Cybernetic Dependence: Much of his abilities were initially reliant on his psycho-helmet, this has lessened over time but not wholly disappeared.[24]

Powerful Tongue: He has a tongue of indeterminate length that is able to pierce almost anything, including stone, steel and even beings in gaseous or liquid form.

Size and Mass Alteration: He is also able to control his own mass. If he loses mass, the lost mass is shunted off to some unknown location, presumably an extra-dimensional space and he shrinks in size. It's unknown how long it takes him to regain his normal size.

Advanced Regeneration: His altered metabolism allows him to heal from injuries with ease, especially those that would otherwise kill him. For instance, he survived being crushed by Colossus's boot.[5] He also regenerated from being beaten to death by Karima Shapandar with a metal pipe,[18] being stabbed with multiple pieces of metal, and left for dead, [23] and being beaten up by Callisto.

Abilities
Super-Genius Intelligence: Sugar Man is a genius regarding anything to do with genetics. He even produced the mutate bonding process as explained above.[27]

They could add him now. Since he wasn't chosen in the 2020 summoners Choice contest, He couldnt' be chose until 2022 or later. I'm personally hoping we get him October since they have said that's a spiderman focused month and it's Halloween, Perfect time to add in a vampire, albiet A living one

Azazel is the Minister of Death, Cyclops is the Minister of Famine, Havok is the Minister of War and Emplate is the Minister of Pestilence. Each Minister has an area of control and special troops.

Hippolyta possesses the conventional attributes of an Olympian goddess. However, many of her physical attributes are more developed than most other Olympian females.
Superhuman Strength: Like all Olympians, Hippolyta is superhumanly strong. Her strength is much greater than the vast majority of Olympian females, or even Olympian males. Hippolyta used to be of class 50 strength, whereas the typical Olympian male is of class 30. However, her strength was recently vastly enhanced when resurrected by various death gods, and it now considerably exceeds her father, Ares, who is a class 70. Likely placing her close to the class 100 level.

Superhuman Speed: Hippolyta can run and move at speeds beyond the natural physical limits of the finest human athlete.

Superhuman Stamina: Hippolyta has inherited her father's legendary physical stamina. As a result, her stamina is matched by very few Olympians. Hippolyta's musculature produces almost no fatigue toxins, granting her nearly limitless superhuman stamina in all physical activities.

Invulnerability: Hippolyta has superhuman durability. She is bulletproof and weapons such as swords can't harm her. However, fire seemed to be able to agonize/damage hippolyta.

Immortality: Like all Olympians, Hippolyta is functionally immortal. She is immune to the effects of aging and hasn't aged since reaching adulthood. She is also immune to all known Earthly diseases and infections. However, this doesn't mean that she can't be killed as no member of any of Earth's pantheons of gods is truly immortal. To be truly immortal, Death itself has to banish an individual from entering it's realm. The Elders of the Universe for instance are among the only truly immortal beings in the universe as Death prevents them from dying. While they can still be injured and feel pain, they will fully recover from any injury no matter the severity, though it may take time to do so.

Regenerative Healing Factor: Despite her superhuman durability, Hippolyta can sustain physical injury. However, her Olympian life force enables her to regenerate damaged tissue much faster and more extensively than a human being. In fact, her healing powers are superior to those of most other Olympians. However, she can't regenerate missing limbs, organs, or brain cells, at least not without the aid of powerful magical assistance.

Superhuman Agility: Hippolyta's agility, balance, and bodily coordination are all enhanced to levels that are beyond the natural physical limits of even the finest human athlete.

Superhuman Reflexes: Hippolyta's reflexes are similarly enhanced and are superior to those of the finest human athlete.

Abilities
Hippolyta is a formidable combatant and has been highly trained in hand to hand combat and all forms of Olympian weaponry by her father Ares.[2]
