Is Corvus Glaive generic worthy?

I have my 4 star Corvus Glaive at rank 5, and he is just a beast! But i have a 4 star generic awakening gem. So should i use my generic awakening gem on CG?

It's a 4* anyway. Yeah he's worth it but you'll find 4* won't get you any further past act 5. So I say, do it!
