AQ start delays daily

I've noticed this week there is quite a significant delay in the daily AQ rewards coming though after the timer has expired and also being able to start the next round.
Day 1 we started AQ about 5 minutes after it came up. Today it's nearly an extra half an hour from Day 1 initial start time ie 8.05pm today's was 8.30pm+
Is there any reason or knowledge about these delays? With people doing Map 6+ by the last day it could be a 40+ minute overall start up delay for people which is basically 1 movement per player potentially lost. Might not seem much but it could hinder some BG's finishing. A reply would be great as players from other alliances have also noticed this.
