If I bought a 5* crystal with 10k shards, but don't open it until the new update happens and more 5* champs are added, will the new champs be added in my crystal or will I only get the old champs?

    You will get the new ones as long as they have been released into the 10k crystals, the banner in the homepage tells you when new champs are added

    Yep. You will get the champs that are in the pool at opening time per Kabam Miike. I have two featured 5*s waiting to open for this reason.

    The featured crystals won't change, only the basic.

    I think he means that the basic pool part of the featured crystal changes, so either get the desired feature or something from the enhanced basic pool. I could never be patient like that....
