True Strike attacks not gaining power against Modok.

While fighting Modok with KM, I noticed it took me 15 hits to barely reach a bar of power. While KM's true strike was active, and Modok failed to auto-block, there were 2-3 hits that landed and granted me no power. On a special delivery node, this killed me real quick.

Did the duration increase, cuz 3 hits is a long time after a special for it to still register as part of the special...

From MODOK's champion spotlight for his L1:
Enemy abilities that grant Power or Health are reversed for the duration of this attack. Up to 150% of what they would have gained is lost instead. This amount stacks with the Power Gain Rate reduced by Flux, so performing a Special 1 at max Flux can easily drain Champions like Vision or Doctor Strange to zero. This effect lasts only about 3 seconds but does not require this attack to hit.

I'm not sure gaining power from normal hits counts as an 'enemy ability'. I could be wrong, but I'd like to see a video on this. My understanding is that it specifically affects passive power gain like Vision, Hyperion, Aarkus, and Mordo and not power generated from normal attacks.

More than likely tied to Modok’s flux, he messes with the power you gain from attacks, normally this is disabled when his shield is down but i wouldn't be surprised if killmonger or true strike is messing with the interaction.

@Harpontone you can upload it on youtube and the link it here, but even if you can't, could you tell us if the force field was active on modok when you didn't get power? because if i'm not mistaken when KM get the true strike and modok fail to auto-block the field charge isn't consumed, so he can still reduce your power rate by up to 100%, not giving you power ^_^

The force field was not active. He used his special 1, I evaded, rushed in (triggering true strike), and for medium and light hit no power was gained.
