5* Tech question

I am a mostly free to play player and so I know it is slower to acquire resources and so I have to use them more strategically. So here is my issue and question:

I have a 5* Yondu that I have at Rank 3/45, unduped, and then I just pulled a 5* Starlord from my most recent 5* champ...which one should I focus on? I could shift over to Starlord - but he is unduped and I am not likely to dupe him for a really long time at the rate I play. I could get Starlord to rank 3/45 with my current resources or I could get Yondu up to rank 4/55. Is Yondu better than Starlord when both are unduped? Is it worth it to hold out for possibly duping Starlord or should I get Yondu up to rank 4 so I have a stronger champ to help me run act 5 and become uncollected?

Appreciate any thoughts!

Unduped, Star Lord is absolutely nothing. Duped, he becomes amazing with his ramp up damage potential.

Focus on Yondu - he doesn't need to be woke to utilise his abilities, particularly the heal block on his L1.

That said, what other potential R4 options do you have?

I have crossbones and Iceman who are rank 3 (but I also have an Archangel who is duped and already at 4/55). Other 5* champs I have are Green Goblin, Kingpin, Venom, Captain Marvel (orig), Vulture, Ironman, Antman, and Mister Sinister to round out the last of my 5*s. My Yondu is already at rank 3 because he was one of the earlier 5* champs I pulled and then I was lucky to get AA and dupe him with the 5* awakening gem that was given out last fall. I feel like Iceman and Venom are good champs, but I do like Yondu and his bleed through blocks as well as the heal block...plus he is already rank 3 while Iceman and Venom are rank 1 because they are recent pulls. Any of those sound like significantly better options?

I'd arguably take Iceman or Venom up first over Yondu - depending on which of their abilities you need more

I'm not sure I would take yondu to R4, I say that as someone who has to be careful with rankups because T2A is not easy to get and there are far too many better tech champs who are worthy.

I wouldn’t r4 yondu and unduped sl is worthless, and even if you dupe sl I’d hold out for a variant gem to r4 him

Venom iceman and to some extent crossbones are miles better than Yondu. SL, as others have mentioned, is more or less worthless unduped.
