Weekly objectives - reset or abandon

I’ve been playing the game for quite a while. Recently decided that I didn’t want to be an alliance due to time commitments. However I still like to play the game. The recent addition of objectives have been great, but now all three of my weekly objectives are filled with things that can only be completed if I’m in an alliance.

Why don’t these objectives have a reset or an “abandon” where I miss out on the objective rewards, but I get a new one when the week refreshes?

I realize this only affects a small % of the community, but it seems like it should exist.

Only on the daily, which is my point. I can reset daily objectives, but weekly aren’t on a timer or have a reset or abandon or something equivalent.
