War Rating changing during off-season in Tier 5.

just noticed that War Rating for off season 1 resulted in no rating change, but the war 2 (the one that finished this morning/afternoon) resulted in war rating being changed. I've attached a few photos as evidence and for reference!

Both wars were fought in Tier 5. We're a little concerned that we can't experiment with different lanes and defensive setups if losing war rating might eventually drop us out of Tier 5 if this is intended. Not looking to tank!

quick update from today. looks like the war rating change bumped us down to Tier 6 which shouldn't have happened in the off season. hoping things can be reverted soon as our ally would love the locked reps.

The Negative WR change from off-season war #2 should not have happened, so long as you were actually still in Tier-5 for that war. Submit a Ticket with Kabam.

But it may not have been the sole reason you dropped to Tier-6 afterwards. Those below you who WERE in Tier-6 for 2nd War could have gotten enough of a Positive WR change (T-6 and below do get to change), could have been enough such that many of them (around the border between 5/6 would have thus moved up above yours (and some others) even if you should have correctly maintained your WR were it was.

So, while in T-5, your WR should not change, but that doesn’t mean you might not get bumped down to T-6 as some others close (but lower) than you overtake you and move into your T-5 spots. Next war, now that you are in T-6, you have the ability to move back up.

yeah that makes sense for sure! opened a ticket. guess we'll see what happened. was mostly concerned about the war rating actually dropping post loss.
