Temporary Rule change for account sharing due to Covid-19

Due to the Horrific beast that is raining down on us called Covid-19 I would like to ask that Kabam allow us all to find a trusted partner we can all share our details with and if the worse happens that account can either live on or the details of the account sent to Kabam so they can put some kind of plaque out of respect onto the persons profile. I personally would prefer some 1 I trust to keep my account alive but it may need kabam to loosen some kind of TOS related to Covid-19 only.

It would be such a waste of the last 5 years you have spent on your account to just go to waste esp if there’s a massive surge of players get hit by this. Show some respect

I don't want to be that guy, but I'll be that guy. You're saying show some respect, but COVID is a serious issue, and not a reason to find leverage within the rules. People have major things to worry about, not who takes their turn in the game. Least of which if they're gone.

If you die, your account would no longer be yours anyway since you are dead, so it's no longer account sharing to begin with.

Account sharing is a bit of a misnomer inasmuch as it applies to many situations which aren't actually sharing. If you sell your account on ebay, various line chats, or whatever you also aren't sharing it as such but it's against the rules. You can't share, lend, give, sell, or bequeath your account to another person. All of these fall under the category of account sharing.

Our Terms of Service (ToS) states that "You may not use anyone else’s Account at any time and you may not allow anyone else to use your Account at any time".

We have no plans to change our stance on this in response to the current pandemic.
