Literally same rewards from Abyss completion and act 6 exploration

Just to gripe a little.

So I did Abyss completion easy path awhile back, spent a little to finish. Mystic t5cc and science awakening.

Spent quite a bit more overall and explored all of act 6. Mystic t5cc and science awakening.

This is beyond painful. Loyal customer, and I feel robbed. Literally can do nothing useful with these top end resources without spending who knows how much on luck in cavaliers or abyss 4 more paths. Even if I did abyss, will it just be more mystic catalysts?

Be nice to at least deselect one choice during a spin like this. Not sure I want to spend again.

People pointed this out before release, and well, it’s frankly awful. So yeah.

That blows. I recommend not spending anymore, you'll feel better about the game and getting bad pulls since you didn't spend money on them. I used to spend quite a bit of money on the game, but the whole Covid situation put a stop to my spending and I've found that I enjoy the game a lot more now because while it still feels bad to pull another useless dupe from a five star or another trash six star, it feels better overall because I know that I didn't waste any money on another dupe of my r1 Carnage or to pull Mordo. And as I'm working on exploring act 6 (currently on 6.2 with only two paths left on the Champion), I realize you don't need to spend money to progress. I get all my units from arena except for the twenty a day I get from the unit daily deal.
When I did my Abyss run, I did it completely for free with a fat stack of units I grinded out for two months. I ended up getting a tech awakening gem which I used for my Ghost and a mutant t5 which I have absolutely no use for. From the six stars, I got Nightcrawler and Psylocke. So, overall, other than awakening Ghost, the Abyss was a waste of my time, at least until I pull a good mutant six star. It felt horrible after I saved up for so long and put all that effort into it. But it would've felt worse if I spent the two hundred dollars I was planning on to use to clear it.
If you want to enjoy the game more, I recommend just not spending money or just buying the unit deal. You'll still get trash pulls, but at least they aren't hundred dollar trash pulls.

That’s RNG for you. That’s what this game is about, and what makes the rewards for completing content always uncertain. That also makes completing content with so-so champs even sweeter. I know a guy who became cavalier with Venompool. A freaking Venompool. Besides, maybe one day you’ll get a 6 star Doom and a 6 star Longshot or another good mystic.

Basically, what I’m trying to say, you do what you can with what you have, and just because something isn’t useful right now, it might be in the future.

Also, Kabam, please don’t take this down.

You will be happy with those mystic t5cc once you pull doom, claire, and longshot

Same for me. Pulled garbage across the board from 6.4 and abyss other than tech awakening. I also got mystic t5. I have 18 six stars, zero mystic.

It’s pretty disheartening. I don’t spend on the game so I don’t have that dynamic to face.
