AQ Doombots - worse than when sentinels first came out in AQ

I’ve been having a difficult time even though it’s only on map4 and I’m getting through the AQ everyday it’s only cos I roll with a 5/65 blade maybe Kabam should look at curbing there aggressive nature a little or maybe including a description of what special attacks they use. Just a thought

I agree to some extent.. They are really aggressive.. And those debuff and immunity add a lot to difficulty level..

To clarify I’m not struggling to finish the map just get chipped cheaply occasionally. I can easily one shot both mini bosses and the Doom boss but those doombots seem to hit me more regularly than the bosses. I suppose I’m complaining on behalf of newer players or someone who doesn’t have as good a roster and the fact it’s only map 4.

I don’t necessarily agree that it’s a skill issue. Those doom bots are more passive than the sentinels are. All breh do is sit back and block. I’d rather do map 6 with decent aggression over map 5 and their passive nature. It’s pretty bad on how passive they actually are.

I actually find them much more passive (Map 4), aggravating that they don’t just come in like normal and let you Parry them as usual.

There not exactly aggressive but they capitalise on every mistake and in comparison to everything else on the map i hardly get any parry’s off and have to rely solely on intercepts. I think the tech and mutant are the worst culprits

Aggressive? I'm finding the exact opposite ... I find them ridiculously passive ..

They have been so passive and sporadic for me. They just stand there doing nothing and the second I go to attack I get comboed in the face. Then they just hold block the rest of the match and walk up to you never attacking. Can’t even intercept if they don’t attack. Makes for some annoying fights.

Map 4, 8.5k prestige alliance and we've all been saying they're too passive and impossible to read. That combined with the mutant's randomly unblockable specials and prowess charges means quite a few losses of 5/65 champs to eating a 3 prowess charged SP1.

Just here to say I agree. I've completed act 6 and have 100% all variants except the first so I know I have skills. Yet I still get hit by doombots because they just do nothing.

Like the meme says: they're just standing there, menacingly.

For real tho they sometiles even stand there without holding block, seems like they are daunting you to swipe in because the moment you do you'll get hit. The only thing you can be 100% certain of, is how unreliable and passive the AI is going to be.

Too passive and impossible to read is the perfect description. I just wish they’d add a description of who’s special they use in-game instead of having to source it elsewhere cos 99% of the time I’m just gonna jump straight into the fight then go **** what’s this one got again.

I’ve Finished 3 variants, Up to Mr Sinister in act 6.2 but a doombot in map 4 has put me in his pocket and tells me what I can do 😂

What does calling another player "just trash" add to the discussion? The OP simply stated they are having difficulty and suggested a way Kabam could help them out. Calling them names like embarrassing and trash does nothing to help the situation. Who cares if they aren't the most skilled player in the game. They still dedicate their time and money into playing just like the most skilled players out there. There is no reason to bash them even IF they aren't as skilled as great players who can't make mistakes such as yourself.

I do map5 doombots are no aggressive at all and they super easy to fight

I think doombots have to be learned and have a different playstyle. Call it very passive.

But they are nowhere near annoying then the aq sentinels. All the same sp's. Sp1 long time not punishable. They are boring.
I can't tell the same from the doombots in the moment.

It's not so much just "a little more passive". It's the jerky behavior; quasi passive, stand up intercept, only attack when your guard comes down, never block at distance, difficult to parry, difficult to force to block with tap,

Passive is a huge part of it, but it's combined with the rest that makes it annoying. No other AI behaves like it, except maybe punisher in arena?
