Was just wondering if anyone knows how to obtain six star shards?

    The 6* shards were introduced in the update on August 30th.

    Unfortunately, any duped 5*s received prior to this date do not qualify for the shard rewards.

    Yea, you pretty much opened it a bit too early. Getting 6* shards only applies if you update the game to the latest version.

    I can confirm that duping a 5* gives you 6* shards, since I opened my 5* crystal after the update and duped my Iron Man again. Extra info: Duping a 5* gives you 275 6* shards.

    Shards arent obtainable yet... if anyone had bothered to actually go in-game and open the Crystal Vault, hit the shards tab and scroll down to the 6* Crystal... it says its unavailable for the time being and thus means shards for it cannot be obtained.
    When you see the 6* Crystal with the 0/10,000 instead of just '0 owned' then you can obtain them.
    They should start to be obtainable in October-November.
