Please don't wreck the game

Hey kabam, if you eliminate def kill points in aw, then unless points received for def placement, diversity, prestige, etc are fairly high, then you generate a massive incentive for teams to place ZERO defenders in aw. Especially since points for attack kills is increasing, why not deprive your opponent of attack kill points entirely by placing no defenders, especially if you have confidence that your side can get more points from attack kills than the opponent can from def placement, diversity etc. But wait, as bad as that is, that's not the worst of it. Once alliances see the strategy being used, they have an incentive to mimic it, thus there will be wars with no defenders on either side. Moral of the story: unless you adjust points such that def placement, diversity, prestige, etc generates more points than a decent number of attack kills, then AW will be totally wrecked. And please don't forget that there are many, many alliances that can clear their aw maps 100%, and with the elimination of def kills, there now will be even more. What this means is that you have to make sure that clearing 3 maps 100% does not yield as many points from attack kills as def placement, prestige, diversity, etc. Otherwise, again, there is no incentive to place defenders. Ever. Only a disincentive. Pllllleeeeeeeeaaaaasssssseeeeee don't wreck aw.

By the way, in case this is not obvious, the quick fix is: don't eliminate def kill points!

You're late to the party, everyone has already had their say in the 15.0 AW Discussion Thread.

Oh good. Glad others noticed it.

Wait, I just took a brief look, and I think others' concerns are a bit different. The main complaint was about a cash grab. My worry is about basic game theory scenarios.

Take a closer look. You'll find it. It's all related by the way.

    Great!

In case this is not redundant: 2 quick fixes. Boss kill points even if no boss is placed (this might be sq, idk), automatic loss if less than a certain % of defenders are not placed.

Ok, word is that you get full boss kill points just for reaching the tile if no boss is placed. So kabam, please make sure that 3 boss kills + def placement + prestige + diversity + 3x100% exploration (but no attack kills) is not less than 3x 100% map exploration of attack kill points + 3 boss kills.

You got a point bro, this might start happening. I guess kabam didn't think all angles out.
