Corvus Glaive charges and spite

Path 4 aw just took corvus in vs domino. Very first fight of the path. Spite and and unstoppable node. Domino had power gain the entire fight. This was with and without the crit buff from dexterity. My only reasoning I see behind this is that she gained spite from glaive charges. Is this as intended?

    She power gained because of your true damage buff.

    You can look at it and see it's a buff.... The buff becomes a true strike buff when you complete the evade/autoblock mission as well. How did you think it got nullified when fighting sym sup, Claire, on buffet nodes, etc....?

    well under the corvus missions section it does briefly mention that the true damage is a buff.

    I'm glad you brought this up. Claire doesnt nullify his charges when she punches him like she does when interacting with every other buff. His charges drop when she knocks him down. But that's every champ
    Charges aren't buffs. They can't be nullified.
    Like other's mentioned, it was due to your True Damage buff. Corvus starts a battle with it, either if he has or not any persistent charges

    I had no missions completed, it was the 1st fight.
    You always start the fight with a True Damage buff-

    Thus buff or True Strike can be nullified or removed by nodes.

That is the True Damage BUFF which is always active when Corvus has Glaive charges. So Corvus has always triggered and will always trigger Spite power gain. You do not need to complete any missions for Corvus to trigger Spite because he always has that True Damage buff active when he has Glaive charges. Just read his description it is way easier than posting on the forum and waiting for an answer.

    White border around the icon indicates a buff no border is a passive effect
