**WINTER OF WOE - BONUS OBJECTIVE POINT**
As previously announced, the team will be distributing an additional point toward milestones to anyone who completed the Absorbing Man fight in the first step of the Winter of Woe.
This point will be distributed at a later time as it requires the team to pull and analyze data.
The timeline has not been set, but work has started.
There is currently an issue where some Alliances are are unable to find a match in Alliance Wars, or are receiving Byes without getting the benefits of the Win. We will be adjusting the Season Points of the Alliances that are affected within the coming weeks, and will be working to compensate them for their missed Per War rewards as well.

Additionally, we are working to address an issue where new Members of an Alliance are unable to place Defenders for the next War after joining. We are working to address this, but it will require a future update.

What are the unique abilities of each class?

Every class seems to have an unique ability, that each champion, released or to be released, in the class inherits in some way or other.

Cosmic - buffs & high damage
Mystic - nullify or prey on buffs (anti-cosmic)
Science - high base stats (be it hp attack or both)
Skill - ability accuracy reduction.
Tech - abilities based on Armor up (sl & rocket are exceptions)
Mutant - ??

Skill champions are mostly due to bleed abilities, able to bypass science champions high stats.
Mutants are known for their regeneration abilities

Yes bleed can also be included in skill. But champs like bw stealthy aegon xb karnak kingpin korg thor don't posses that ability. So its quite a good chunk to not generalise bleed.

Same for mutant archangel, cyclops, colossus, domino, emma, gambit, ice, magneto, nc, psylocke, storm, sunspot don't posses regen ability. So there's another good chunk to not generalise regen for mutant

They literally read off the generic tips the game gives during the loading screens. Those are the generic ablities of each class given to us by Kabam themselves. It's just aged poorly.

I think Science is more about putting a lot of debuffs on the opponent and to some extent heal reversal.

You could say damage over time is the skill class ability. Mutants tend to be mixed tho. Some are defensive some are offensive others have regen. Makes sense considering the source materials that mutants posses an indefinite amount of different abilities.

    Finally, something I know!

So, the science class is really heavy on debuffs (CAIW, Void, Human Torch to an extent, Yellowjacket), and punish mystics for specials (Void, Yellowjacket, Torch).

The mystic class nullifies buffs (Symbiote Supreme, Sorcerer Supreme, Dormammu) or turns buffs into damage (Voodoo, Morningstar, Mordo [kinda]) and that’s how they are superior to cosmic.

Cosmics get their power from buffs (Hyperion, Venom, Awakened Medusa) and use them to get damage from furies or cruelty or other buffs. A lot of cosmics will also apply armor break or armor shatter (Medusa, Aarkus, CMM) to negate the armor of the next class, tech.

The tech class has a lot of armor up champions to negate damage (Guillotine 2099, Iron Patriot, War Machine) and also power control, whether it be power burn, (Vision) power lock, (Doc Ock) or power drain (Mysterio). They control the power bar, rendering the majority of mutants without a lot of damage.

Mutants rely on some crits (Domino is a nice example) or straight up massive special damage (Sunspot, Domino, Havok, Namor) they also have quite a few regen champs (Wolverine, X-23, Cable) and they straight up overpower our final class, skill.

Skill champions have a great use in shrugging off/consuming debuffs placed on them (Agent Venom, Kingpin, Mole Man) and they have bleed champions (Taskmaster, Nick Fury, Black Panther, Masacre, Ægon and more). This makes them very effective against the science class.

    Hope this answers your question!
