Sentinel Bug?

I've had this happen a few times I know if with sentinel, and I feel like other characters as well, where my sentinel will just... stop. I've had it happen during a dash attack - he'll stop right before he attacks. And then I get wrecked. I've tried to purposefully make him stop on a dash and I can't. I've had it happen in the middle of a combo - he just stops hitting.
I couldn't find any mention of this in any other thread, so ill just set if anyone else has experienced this.
