Any tips and tricks on using thing?

I just got a 5 star thing(super happy about that) and was wondering how good is he without synergies as I don't want to rely on one champion.

Nice pull! I have Thing as a R5 5*. Thing’s damage is pretty good without synergies. You have to focus on ramping him up by converting his rock stacks into passive furies. At max stacks, which is 60, his damage is fairly impressive. Once you hit max stacks, throw a SP 3 to get a huge fury, and watch the damage get even better. Add in some great utility in the form of immunities and tankiness and he’s great for questing.
